I met a guy online. We began talking over the phone for over two weeks now. Normally, I don't go as far as talking to someone I met online. But, ever since we began to chat, he seemed very interesting to me. So, every night for two weeks, non-stop, he always calls me at night. We do not engage in sexual conversation. Its usually, work, interest and hobbies.

So, I asked him what he thought about me, and he said I'm sweet. Afterwards, I was silent. And, he knew I was not satisfied with is response. Since, I do not want to bombard him with additional questions, I want to ask if anyone has any thought to this. If a guy calls non-stop for two weeks straight, does it mean he's really into me, maybe he's not sure and screening, or is he just passing the time?

Why not meet him and see if you hit it off in person?

What words were you expecting?

I don't really get it.

What's the problem?

You need to be talking to him about this.

I was expecting more than I'm sweet. I'm funny, attractive, out-going, energetic. I would love to meet him in person. But, he has not asked. Should I make the first move?

The reason why I said I did not want to bombard him with a lot of questions, was, he mentioned once that I asked a lot of questions. Rather than have our conversation turn awkward, I decided to leave it alone. But, it is on my mind.

What do you normally do then if you're not talking to the people you meet online?

How do you know he knows you weren't satisfied with his response? Where you expecting a declaration of love from someone you haven't even met IRL?

If someone calls for 2 weeks, they might be interested but they could also be just bored!

Ummm, Declaration of Love is quite a stretch? I was expecting he be a little more descriptive of how he felt.

I'd at least be broaching the subject with him. (That is, unless you want to have an exclusively phone relationship)

But he hasn't even met you! I could understand if this was after 2 weeks of dating IRL, but would he not just be making assumptions? The reason why most people suggest meeting up early is to avoid this whole build up, coz sometimes when people meet IRL, they just don't click despite their wonderful phone conversations. You could potentially be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Why don't you suggest meeting for a coffee and take it from there?
