Errrr, maybe I'm going about it all wrong. I go out on a date, find out if there is any attraction and go from there. How else would I find out ahead of time?

Kissing may be a good, but far from foolproof indicator - if it's great then at least you have chemistry. But chemistry doesn't ensure you both have good enough technique that you can show the other person a good time. You have to have sex a few times to see if you can satisfy the other. Then you need to look over the longer term...anyone can have great sex for a few weeks...but later you find out the guy who was begging for it every day really only wants to a couple times a week once the "pent-up demand" was exhausted. Just because sex is good may not be enough if one of you wants sex 2 or 3 times more often than the other - resentment is pretty ugly.
The act of sex is basic lol. Theres nothing compatible about it.
