It was lovely. I went to the library and worked. Very productive.

Watched TV, went over to MD for some food I can't get in VA. Pretty much depressed that I'm still single and have never been in a relationship.

I had an elaborate weekend away planned with my live-in girlfriend of 3 years, I found out she was cheating on me Friday, went anyway since it was paid for, and was torn in pieces the whole time... yeah, had a great weekend.

Nope, but she didn't realize it was valentine's day when she planned the date. I dropped that on her late Sunday night and then I heard some colorful language about what she thought of the holiday.

I was on call and working. Not too well, I suppose. I do have the day off today to balance out my shift hours. That is a good thing.....I'm very tired.

I spent the day relaxing at home and bleeding.

I leveled up, got caught up on Lucifer, worked on a picture (yes, jumped on the coloring bandwagon), went for a brief walk out in the blistering cold for ingredients, and made a nice dinner of spiced quinoa and chickpeas. I took a nap, spent no money, and didn't shower until 2:00 p.m., wherein I did not shave my legs and after which I did not style my hair or put on make-up. I had enough leftovers for the next day, which I did not share with anyone, and I did not have to worry about whether someone else's "needs" were met or whether he liked a gift.

Sorry, but VD is to romance what New Year's Eve and St. Patrick's Day are to partiers: Amateur Night. Hated it when I was married, hated it when I was in a relationship, am glad I don't have to deal with it now. If a man wants to show love, he can clean the bathroom, do the laundry, and get in the kitchen and prepare a meal--without being asked and without it being a holiday or my birthday.

So there.

Got drunk, woke up at 6, watched all football matches (huge day in the EPL season), went to Walmart, shopped, cooked, watched a movie.
