Not sure I'd put an age on it. Some older folks are dumb as hell and not incredibly mature and every once in awhile I'll run across a younger lady who is mature beyond her years.
BUT, if I HAD to put an age on it.... maybe late 20s up to late 40s.
I would consider robbing the cradle with a fifty-year-old.
Then this would happen:
Old lady 1) "Now I know why she never talks about church."
Old lady 2) "I bet we'll see a new luxury car in that driveway"
Old lady 3) "The pool will be crowed this summer"
Old lady 1) " She will not be using it!"
Old lady 3) "yes, she will be in bed, the old fool"
If it's just dating with nothing more serious in mind, perhaps 25 to 70. For something serious, would consider 35 to 65, but the ideal would probably be 45 to 60.
I'm married. When I was still dating, the age range I set my filters to was 34-44. Over the course of time I was in the dating scene, I probably met seven men who were under 34. I greatly preferred, almost exclusively dated, older men.
So, realistically, mid-30s was the lowest for me, and mid-40s the highest. Average was late 30s. I was in my late 20s.
I'm a 44 year old woman and my range is 42-54. I've dated men 20 years older than me (back in my 20s)...and the gulf in our ages was just a tad too much. Being out on a date with a man who was in Vietnam the same year I was born didn't go over that great. I have never been out with anyone who was younger than me, except for someone I dated briefly, who was three years younger.
This thread again! Within the last year it's been from 22 to 35. I'm 29. I seem to get along best with girls just a little younger than me. Although I got along really well with the 35 year-old.
