Why do you post about stuff that happened YEARS ago? Stuff that is no longer relevant that you can have no impact on at all? It isn't healthy to live in the past....move on.

He just stated in one of his other threads that he is between girlfriends. It might explain why he is reflecting and ruminating on any and all instances of female attention he perceived in the past decade or so.

OP was being disingenuous. He is one of our posters who has never had a girlfriend.

Disengenuous about what? I like to put humor into my threads sometimes, but some people think I am making up stories.

What makes someone a relationship "expert" in your opinion? More dating? More girlfriends? One long-term relationship? Someone who spends all their time in a Relationships forum? I'm asking you seriously.

I find it surprising, too. Though I do recall discovering (as a young adult) that being moderately polite to some men seemed to be taken as interest.

What I feel I've observed is that this generally happens when there actually is no interest at all on the object of affection's part. This is true of both men and women. When the other person is interested, even mildly, it is more self-evident and much less intricate interpretation of every blink and nod is required in order for the "maybe s/he likes me" hope to be kept alive.

I had many extraordinary weird incidents happen throughout my past with women, but none worth starting a thread over. Because people simply don't care, Lol

I have some pretty crazy stories. I once had a guy come up to me in mall, told me he was a messenger from God and had a message for me. LOL

Me too, weird story time: I once had a stalker, 40 years old and no car or driver's license for whatever reason. The whole weird "I know we were meant to be together" "you clearly are giving me signals" thing started in the fall. I didn't ask what the signals were. I practiced pretending I didn't see him, that's all I could do. I thought it might be over, then I saw the bike tire tracks in the snow outside of my window and through my yard.
