I dont mean cheating, flirting, controlling or anything
Sometimes spats happen. Bf leaves clothes on floor after shower. Girl takes too long to get reayd
their little spats that end up becoming a huge deal and people break up
Why
Why let such a small thing ruin what could be a great relationship?
Usually that means they weren't really that into each. People who are into each other or care deeply for each other usually do not break up over things such as this.
"Well, I really didn't like him that much anyway......"
Sexual attraction is the main focus in ones eye today in a relationship. Mature adults will understand that you spend more time out of the bedroom then in the bedroom. Focus more on things standing up then laying down!!
Agreed with jaypee. It's likely that the real problem one has with the other is deeper and far more serious than leaving clothes on the floor. It's probably easier (i.e. less scary) to lash out at him over some minor thing than to communicate about the deeper true problem. The "small thing" may be relevant to the deeper problem, or it may just be an excuse. It may also be an indicator of loss of attraction.
That said, even minor annoyances can add up over time, particularly if the guilty party makes no effort to learn and improve. "Straw that broke the camel's back" may one day come to fruition. And lastly, what may be considered a "mild annoyance" in the eyes of 99% of people could be a bigger pet peeve for the remaining 1%.

Because people think they have so many other/better options and the grass is greener somewhere else.
It is part of our culture that we don't work things out anymore, people have become easily replacable.
