So my gf and I live together and have for the past year. We do things together and have fun but my gf gets very upset when I just want some game time, and I am not talking super long gaming sessions or anything like that more 2-3 hours. She makes comments like "Why do you enjoy those stupid games" "It's a very immature activity" etc.
The best thing you can do is have a very MATURE conversation in which you explain to her that it's your hobby and you would appreciate it if you could have fun doing something you like without ridicule.
Although ... are you talking 2-3 hours PER DAY? I can see where, if you are both working, that might interfere with your time together, so you may need to re-evaluate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My 13-year-old couldn't even fit in that many hours of Xbox per day if he tried.

2-3 hours nightly? 2-3 hour sessions a couple of times a day?

You probably need to compromise with a happy medium...somewhere between not playing at all and becoming a growth/fixture on the couch.
Women make up 47% of gamers so I'd just find one who doesn't have a problem with it. I like women that like fun, not try to stop it. Does that make me a bad person?

How often do you play?
Assuming it's not every night and it's not infringing on your activities together ask her politely to stop the remarks and to mind her own

What is the problem even if it is every night? That's when a lot of people can unwind and do what they want. If his gf spent 2-3 hours reading books every night would that be a problem?
