This may be only me, but couldn't help but notice the huge jump in the number of people I hear about getting engaged. I notice this real life, on Facebook, instagram and other social media sites. Maybe I'm just taking more notice of it but I don't remember hearing about so many people getting engaged or witnessing proposals on social media in the last couple of last years. Are a lot of people catching wedding fever? Is it just me noticing this? I've heard Trump's tax plan won't be good for single people, do you think that is inspiring more people to want to tie the knot? I know it's a weird observation that can very well be false but I just wanted to see if other people noticed the same thing.
He's only been in office a it over 2 months. It's a little soon to be noticing such trends, isn't it? OP, are you saying that suddenly, a lot of people in the last 2 months, have rushed to engagement?
I can assure you, most couples that get married aren't doing it for taxes.
Indeed. More likely it's to ensure they have health care, because there is no tax bill up for a vote so far.
