My wife has always said that she has no interest in porn -- that it doesn't do anything for her.
Just the other day, a male friend of mine sent me a graphic that included a dirty joke and what appeared to be a scene taken from a porn flick in the background.
I then showed it to my wife. Since she didn't make a big deal about the nudity, I decided to send her another pic of a porn scene. And then more soon followed.
Long story short: It turns out that she does seem to like porn -- to a degree. She says the pics turn her on (she doesn't want video clips or movies) if the people in the pics look like they're enjoying themselves.
In other words, she looks for facial expressions and other cues that signal they are really turned on (heavy kissing, moaning, etc.). If it looks too fake/scripted, she doesn't like it. She does admit that she wouldn't mind my sending her a pic here and there in advance of a romp in the bedroom.
This has made me curious as to whether porn has this effect on most women. Do you get aroused by it if the actors look like they're really into it?
If not porn, do you ladies get turned on by steamy scenes in movies, where, say, two actors passionately kiss one another -- even if no clothes comes off?

Yes, if I'm attracted to the guy in the movie and the scene was done well.
Used to when I was younger but it had to be well done, male/female, and they had to obviously be enjoying it. Didn't like same sex stuff or things too kinky.

^ This. But I am picky, because there's certain things I don't care for, and thus too much of it in the film or scene ruins it. Such as -Spitting. Water-works. Focus on feet. P.O.V. to name a few.
You're dealing with a couple things when someone tells you "they are not in to porn"
One: they don't want to be in to it, so they refuse it.
Two: sexual imagery has an affect in us all regardless of our gender and are/still motivated in some way by sex and sexuality.
Yes, pornagraphy has an effect on females, but they may choose to ignore or dismiss it for their own personal reasonings.
It depends. Most porn is made for men, so it doesn't do anything at all for me. Women's porn is a different thing, but it's very rare.
Yeah, that's a big one. If I say that I'm not into porn it's not because I'm invested in being a prude, it's that most of what's out there is not what I want to see.
I never was big on watching people do sexual things with each other. It's weird to me.
