Especially when I see it in deal breaker sections which for me is whether or not they smoke. Usually, I take that as a yes and I skip, but I wonder what is it with taking that attitude in the first place?
OR.........
am I being too sensitive? Responding because it is so close to those meetings I have had in the past where I am told to come to the office and I ask what the meeting is about and they say.......
Since conversation is important to me, I just figure these guys would not be interesting to talk to and skip over them
Or, they'd be too lazy to put any effort into any kind of relationship, too.
I skip over those profiles - my personal policy - unless they contact me first and say something that is worthy of a response. I figure they are scammers, fakes, or too clueless to date.
I would assume anyone who puts "I'll tell you later" in a deal breaker category is telling you "yeah I got a bunch of red flags but it's not my fault I SWEAR". Expect a lot of drama and baggage from them if you don't just skip them over.
When I did OLD, I just skipped over those profiles. They probably aren't serious about meeting someone, and if they are, they are very lazy about it. Either way, it's not worth wasting a second thinking about them.
I generally couldn't be bothered with the "I'll tell you later" or "just ask" profiles either. Aside from the general laziness issue, there's the chance they are the types to tell you anything you want to hear, i.e. liars and fakes, who don't want anything in writing because they just mirror the woman whose panties they are trying to drop at the moment.
i never read the profile, i just look at the pictures =)
