LOL. Men are disposable (Women and children first, remember). No one cares about men's emotions. The world doesn't stop and cater to you when you're sad or depressed..........get on with the work.
"I ain't got time to bleed"
Good album, that. Not a patch on Fair Warning, though.

Unless that depression is the result of a chemical imbalance that can only be treated with medication, getting on with the work is often the best way to resolve it.
In my experience, how a woman feels about men showing emotion is often dictated by how they feel about the man in general. In other words, if a dude she likes tears up about something she finds it sweet, where if a dude she doesn't like tears up about the same thing she thinks he's a baby. Conversely, if the guy she likes doesn't show emotion he's strong, the guy she doesn't like is cold in the same situation.
And please note the words "in my experience" and "often" in the statement above. I'm not claiming this is universal, it's just an observation.

Yeah, we remember.
From the Titanic.
Yep, like a century ago?
We remember. Or, not literally. We weren't EVEN ALIVE then. So...we remember what we've read about this very, very, very old-fashioned view. Oh yeah, and DiCaprio drowning.
Give me a man who shows emotion. It's not fair to say, "a man with enough confidence to show emotion" because some men are simply not wired that way. It's easier for me to "read" a man, too, who shows emotion.

But that's about it.
How about the plane that landed on Hudson? Were you alive then? How about any other modern day catastrophy or a close call? You do understand that women and children first is still the procedure followed everywhere, right? It wasnt only the case 100 years ago (the time when you claim you were so oppressed. Isnt it odd that someone who wasnt treated human and was thought to be an object, was saved first and the oppressors would pay with their own lives to ensure your safety?).
