Ever wonder why all men want a "10" even if they're a "2" ? Gotta have Eye Candy for everyone else to see but dang if anyone looks too hard they don't like it. LOL What's the deal with that?
#2 women want #10 men too. So, what's about that?
Most people want to improve with their SO. If not financially, then socially or just brag with the look. It's normal human desire. Nothing to wonder about. And if they get what they look for - good for them!

Yeah...but...
In my whole life, EVERYONE I ever dated, except for 1 person, who I met through a dating service, I thought was attractive, and I was attracted to.
The guy I met through the dating service...I was actually a little disappointed in, but I thought "Well...maybe he's great in other ways." Now...throughout my life, all (except for the one) of the guys I dated...I liked them...but someone else might've said "Eh...they don't appeal to me at all." One guy I used to date when I was in my 20s, my sister told me she had no idea what I saw in him, and SHE thought he was a huge nerd. Well...I thought he was hot, and that's really all that mattered. LOL
This is like saying "Why do all people want to spend their vacation in a $10 million house adjacent to the beach vs. a run-down shack in the worst part of Detroit? What's up with THAT?"

That is true, a person cannot help who they are attracted to. It's just there and that's that. I have known men though, that won't date an "average Jane" because they aren't "hot" enough, although they got along great, had fun together and the sex was off the charts. Just not "hot " enough. That I just don't get.

Update:
I guess what I was originally asking was this:
Why does a man get jealous when other men look at his Eye Candy? Isn't that what it's for?
