even though i dont live there i figure austin,tx would be great for singles. it is a city, but not HUGE. theres a variety- liberals, conservatives, young college aged kids, people who work for dell (professionals), those that work for the government, a college scene (6th st), an older professional scene (warehouse district), and a more bohemian/electric scene (riverside or riverdale st i forgot).
I am not surprised that Dallas is #3 on the list of Best Cities for Singles. I am a single female, and I have met lots of men out here. Now the quality of the men I've met... that's a different story.
