Please anyone..Ive asked my partner please do not slam doors...grab the knob and twist it in stead of just jamming it in! And for some strange reason he says no problem and then does it! Then he says its not intentional..ok i ask again, remind the next, ...and for some reason he just doesnt get it and then denies the fact that he is slamming it after I catch him doing it, which in turn drives me insane! So basically, any suggestions as to a tacktic ?? Its like traing a kid..pet or someting....How can i get him to not slam the doors?

How about as a compromise to evil and making s/t work, knotting a sock at both ends close to the width of the door and throwing that over the top of the door? The knot will catch against being slammed and you have to gently push the door closed to lock it.
