I have found this very odd. Let's say a guy who's 30 yrs old, and the woman is 33 or 34 yrs old. Then when the man tells the age to this woman automatically she says oh you're a baby. I do not understand this, because is only like 3 yrs younger than her. Why is this? Any inputs?
Yeah the input is it should be changed to 'some women' not all 'women.'
There is also a studied relative age comparison in which many if not most women are anywhere from 5 to 10 years ahead of a some men in maturity levels. While I've dated men my age to 10 years younger I am more compatible with men 10 years my senior.
This does not include everyone and there are other reasons which can be considered depending upon the person.
My first husband was two years younger, and my current is one year younger, but I have always liked younger men. Not THAT much younger mind you, but I like to keep my inner child running at full speed still, and the few years younger crowd works for me.
I do have my share of problems with not being on the same page sometimes, but that can happen with any age group in any point of the relationship.
Age doesn't matter to me, I see all walks of life joined up with partners who suit them, the age is based on their comfort levels with it, not a social norm anymore.
I'm almost 40 and live with someone 7 years my junior. When I was single, I always was hit on by younger men and dated younger men. The only time I ever commented that someone was too young was when they were obviously too young LOL - meaning, if I'm 35 and they are 25 - that's too young.
