I think everyone has a different perception of what a tomboy is.... as such I won't attempt to define it.
What I will say that one of my earliest crushes was a girl who loved to shoot rifles, climb trees, play sports, and hung around guys. She could hold her own among us guys. She was cute too... not butch in even the slightest sense.
Meaning, would you date/marry some who :
- enjoys rough physical acitivies (football, rugby, rodeo, etc.)
-never worn girls cloths except for under things
-built like a piano mover
-works in a feed store and breeds livestock
So, fellas?
This isn't what a tomboy is. They're very rarely that extreme. Chances are, you see some every day, but you wouldn't know it. They'd be the ones wearing jeans a lot, maybe the adventurous ones that like to travel to out-of-the-way locations, enjoy hiking or rock-climbing, or long-distance swimming, or other physical challenges. Most tomboys have a soft side, too, which is why they're kind of a turn-on--they surprise you that way. Besides, I like women who live life creatively, and do their own thing. I like that independent mindset.

This. This is a better description of what a tomboy is.
Why not? Being a tomboy myself, I thinks it's a fine arrangement: a dual-purpose best friend and bed buddy. (ETA: for clarification, I am not butch. Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

I like girls that can do physical activities with me, just not tackle me like a line backer. I dated a tom boy for a while... my only complaint? Is that sometimes they have a hard time being feminine or at least the one i did, did. It was like i was dating a male, that looked like a female.
I would love to date a 'Tomboy' as long as she were cute also.
I think it's sexy to have a woman who is attractive yet dresses down in say jeans and a light flannel shirt or t-shirt and who likes doing outdoors stuff or enjoys doing mechanical stuff like wrenching on her car.
She would enjoy playing basketball or shooting pool with you.
I don't like women who are all about looking diva or wrapped up into hair, nails and heels all the time....too high maintenance!
If by tomboy you mean Michelle Rodriguez then yes. Yes i would
Yes! Me Too!!
She is the perfect TomBoy!
