I think this has been done before but it turned into one big joke with silly pictures and such. That said, i would really like to know who it is I am talking to. Half of you I cant tell if you are male or female by your screen name. I think it would be fun to know what you all REALLY look like... not silly joke pictures. If you aren't willing to share, can you at least tell us male or female if you have a neutral screen name?

I think many, if not most, people are very hesitant to post pics of themselves online. There are people on this forum just waiting to do screen caps of whatever they can - and use them for god-only-knows what.
I go back and forth on this...I have used online dating for years, and never had a issue. I use FB and have hundreds of pics out there for all my family and friends (but FB offers security of course). I used to have a myspace account, and had pics there too, but I've deleted that account. So while I have never had a problem, I understand the hesitation to post them here. It's pretty wide open. I have a photo in my profile - it's a couple of years old now, but I've not changed much.
