As she said, marriages like those can be VERY complicated - and the more money involved the more complicated it gets. Long term marriage DOES NOT = happiness in all cases.

It doesn't matter whether they are happy or not. These are wealthy couples, and they aren't representative. Money can't buy happiness, but it certainly can buy lots of very nice happiness-substitutes. And even that is besides the point. For every kind of couple, you may find someone whose relationship has worked out; but it doesn't indicate the likelihood that someone else's will. No one here is making predictions. All that most people are saying here is, every relationship has a certain set of complications. Some types of relationships have more complications to resolve than others. The more different the partners are, the less likely it is that they will be happy in the long term. Being from different backgrounds, different cultures, different socio-economic statuses, and yes, being of vastly different ages -- those are just added tensions. Some people can still handle the increased tension load, but that's no reason to pretend it isn't there.
Why? She simply takes some of his money and rents a hard one, problem solved
