Oblivion. You will be incapable of perceiving anything.

I'm not going to be able to say for sure... nor can anyone on the board honestly say since none of us have died yet.

I expect and suspsect there is nothing...everything just blinks out and that's all she wrote.

I hope there is something... reincarnation or simply waking up in a higher reality to find this life was a dream or simulation.

I highly doubt there will be a set of pearly gates on a cloud with St Peter behind a book pointing up or down depending on how life went and am very sure there is no eternal heaven or hell with admission based entirely on what we do while "flying blind" in this life.

No, but there have been millions of observations of death and not one of these observations has pointed to the conclusion that there is anything at all beyond our living physical state. There are tens of thousands of cemeteries that contain millions of residents that have all remained quite dead. Religious accounts of life after death must be dismissed as mythology as none of these accounts are supported by verifiable and reliable eyewitnesses. People that supposedly died, "saw the light" and came back simply were not dead.

Simple anecdotes and claims are not adequate to support life after death as extraordinary claims, such as life after death, require extraordinary evidence, and this evidence simply does not exist.

Yep, since there is NO evidence for an afterlife I suspect that death is the end of it all.

Since spirit is energy and all humans have a spirit, I suggest that since matter cannot ultimately be destroyed that our spirits never cease to exist.

Your logic fails. You cannot simply define something into existence.

Ashes to ashes dust to dust.
I've been declared dead then brought back to life and was asked what did I experience during that down time and I just drew a blank.
