We ended up here because we have gotten custody of the girls and we felt that taking them away from all they know was wrong. I AM NOW HAVING MY DOUBTS!
I need a forum that I can find some answers and ask questions. I am neither mormon or post-mormon, so those forums are not for me, although I have been reading them like a mad woman. I now have some big questions and HUGE concerns.
I am a stranger in a strange land. l am also respondsible for the spirituality of 3 "young women"! Can someone out there point me in the right direction? Please?

Hi Go-Lightly!
Thank you for your post, and
welcome to the forum! You will find plenty of kind and loving persons here, that will be glad to help. If you have recieved Jesus Christ as Savior, then you are a
Christian; thereby becoming part of the body of Christ
instantly. You do not need to "join" any one church to define yourself, although I would find a solid Bible-believing church and attend it, for fellowship and learning. (look for one where people really CARE for one another...where they will pray for you and help you) I would be cautious about saying "I am of this (church), or I am of that (church)", because the Bible warns about that....way back 2000 yrs ago people were going around saying "I am of Paul", or "I am of Cephas", etc, etc. (pride)...it is the same thing today: some people get so prideful of whatever church they go to. (Like Brand-X is the best...so everbody else is wrong, etc)
Somebody said there were already over
33,000 different churches! Needless to say, they can't all be 100% right.
You know what I would do, if I were in your shoes? I would read the Bible, and pray. I would read it, and read it, and read it, and read it, and read it, and read it...over and over and over and over and over again. And pray, and pray, and pray, and pray. After a while, it all becomes so much a part of your life, that you'll be able to answer your question yourself....the answer comes from God, from God's Word, not us.
If you have questions, go ahead and post them...you'll get answers...and we are happy to have you here!
There is also a
prayer requests thread here on the forum:
http://www.city-data.com/forum/relig...worldview.html
...just ask, and we will pray for your specific requests...
