Do you still regularly attend religious services in the neighborhood in which you grew up, even though you live many miles away?

Nope. It doesn't work that way in my denomination. Congregations are established along geographical lines and you're a member of a congregation based upon where you live. Of course you're allowed to visit other congregations, but you could attend a congregation miles away from your own for years and still be considered a visitor there.

Many dioceses try to enforce that in my denomination (Catholic), although that doesn't stop its members from attending other parishes for various reasons (you like the priest better, shorter services, etc.)
What brought my original question to mind was the occurrence of white flight over the last few decades. The neighborhood Catholic Church usually stays around long after the formerly all-white and mostly Catholic neighborhood becomes overwhelmingly non-white and Protestant. I was wondering how many of the members who moved to the 'burbs still attend services regularly at the old church (or temple).
