This part caught my attention which always seems to be a hallmark of cults:

"They were saying the end of the world was coming and true days of darkness were coming and we had so many hours and days to join,..."

Sounds strangely familiar.

Yeah, that guy said "they" were saying this back in 1998, I can imagine what they're telling their followers now. It's definitely a cult. It's hard to believe these things still exist.

hard to believe but true that they do exist in this day and time. bottom line is they want your money and absolute control over your life sooooooooooooooooo they can get all your money.these cults are usually ran by someone who grew up ignored and not excepted by main stream society and most often dirt poor .hence their need to have people listen to them and not question their authority.their need to control something or someone ,the need to feel important and that they 'matter'.{ that is where the 'i and i alone know these things so follow me' comes in.] usually they are insecure and paranoid schezophrenics with delusions of grandeur hopping in and out of manic depression states of mind.the people who follow usually are those who have low self esteem in the natural as well as in the spiritual.i hope that cult leader goes to hell with gasoline britches on.

The real problem is that there are actually people who'll believe that nonsense.

Jehovah's witnesses, political extremists, religious zealots, lonely and lost souls, Bapitists, Catholics, anarchists, atheists, malcontents, people who are just plain nutty....any and every one believes that crap.

..."goes to hell with gasoline britches on" That's a classic ~

I been told by an ex JW that the the elders have predicted the end of everything at least a staggering ten times, and been wrong as usual of course. These were the predicted dates of our demise.

1875
1914
1915
1918
1920
1925
1941
1975

Notice that after 1925 the gap beteen predictions becomes longer, and no more predictions after 1975, seems like these nitwits have run out of prophets.
