Default The horrors of being brought up in a tolerant and free America!

Can you imagine holding your own tongue in a situation like this?

"Religious tolerance" my rosy red petootie! One can start to imagine some of the rationale where some countries have then rounded these zealots up and sent them off to ther own private "sanctuaries", where they can only hurt themselves.

No Christmas Gifts? Oh NOOOO!!!! Crass marketing and hyper-commercialism, the real reasons for Chri$tma$, would be... well... RUINED! (And God will not be happy!)

My advice to the boy: Flee! Run away! As fast and far as you can!

Freedom from psycho-enslavery is only a brief sprint away, m-boy!

That was hilarious. Nothing for Christmas!

I also like that other threat, "We're going to start going to church EVERY week!"

I understand mom being upset, but yelling at him or trying to punish him is not the way to handle it. When I became of age, around 14, my mom stopped forcing me to go to church, at that point she said I was old enough to decide for myself. I stopped going. Now some 40 years later, I am beginning to seek God in my life, and will be going to a mass tomorrow. This can't be forced, and atheist's should not be pushing their lack of belief either. This is a personal journey.I do think exposure to religion is a good thing for children, it was for me. Expose them to several belief systems then when they are old enough, they are on their own.
