Phoenix pastor accused of molesting girls, impregnating teen
PHOENIX -- A Phoenix pastor is accused of molesting girls, including several that went to his church, and impregnating a girl who may have been as young as 13, reports CBS affiliate KPHO.
Jose Vicente Morales, 49, was arrested Friday. According to court documents obtained by the station, there are at least five alleged victims that he knew through his church or already knew outside of the church.
Police opened an investigation when a 17-year-old girl who attended his church told her mother she was hurting herself because of the sexual abuse by Morales five years earlier, court documents said.
To be fair, not all priests and pastors are under arrest or under investigation for molestation, statutory rape, sexual abuse, sexual perversion, child pornography, embezzlement, fraud, tax evasion, or financial impropriety. Many haven't been discovered yet.
I wish this b@stard and others like him would be castrated, this is appropriate punishment for rapists and other sexual predators. At the very least I hope he's locked up for the rest of his worthless life.
Praying to his fictional god isn't going to save his sorry butt now.
It not Christianity , as it is not any part of that religion that holds up this abuse , as it is the system were any leaders do not have to be legally bonded by the government to have authority over children , as the parents should demand yearly bonding of leaders for criminal activities to have children under their authority and leader need to have two or more leaders present in activities

What is it about particularly fundamentalist, but not limited to them, pastoral leaders that one sees so much impropriety?
It is the same as why pornography searches and cheating sites are most commonly accessed in the bible belt. The hypocrisy is huge.

Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is that Christian leaders are and always have been full of snot. They use their position and their claims of special authority derived from God as a tool to exploit the gullible among us. Going all the way back to Peter, whom the Catholics refer to as "the prince of heaven."
And what does the NT tell us about Peter? He was a violent man who carried a sword, which he was fully prepared to use, but only if the odds were in his favor. He was bold enough to cut off the ear of an unarmed servant, but when actual armed soldiers appeared he ran like a weasel and repeatedly denied that he even knew Jesus. He was not a man to obstruct either. After selling a property, Ananias and his wife Sapphira turned over a portion of the money to Peter, but keep some of the money, theirownmoney, for themselves. Peter, along with his band of thugs, confronted Ananias and Sapphira and accused them holding back some of the money. Their bodies were then unceremoniously taken out and buried (Acts 5:1-10). What a prince! In fact Peter was a weasel. Much as pastor Morales of the OP is a weasel. Much as so many priests, pastors and televangelists have proven themselves to be weasels over the years. Because there is a sucker born every minute, and some people find that too irresistible NOT to exploit.

Yep, it isn't Christianity that is to blame, it's people. God of course can't be blamed for it as he doesn't exist. So Christianity is just like any other organization (except that it serves no real purpose but to peddle myths) and should be keeping a better eye on the people it employs. The best we can ask is that they co -operate when a complaint is made and don't try to cover it up, like the Vatican and one or two others, or so we hearr.
