Why do you think people are starving and have no clean water in places? (birth control, atheist)

Well, why don't we get to the bottom of this issue? Get it all out...the spiritual ideas, the intellectual ideas. The atheist ideas and the believer's ideas....cuz does anyone really know? I dunno. We all might learn something and open to new thoughts! "The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open."
The answer is both political and religious. There are religions who deny women the choice not to have intercourse to prevent pregnancy. These same ideologies do not believe women should have access to birth control.
Rather than really help, religions seek to control women, children and LGBTQ. They promote division.
"I do know that continuing to have babies when you and your children are already starving isn't real smart."
Bryan's comment is aimed at women who get pregnant when they cannot afford to feed the others. Only women can have babies. It seems a bit unkind.
MQ, Why I picked the general R and S section....since this is not a specific religion's topic...was the 'blaming of God' issue ...that 'He' lets it happen, is brought up often.
I actually forgot politics could be brought up...SINCE it was placed in the Religion/Spirituality section....sorry.
Cuz you're right ... it could be in Great debates....but I had in mind intellectual and spiritual reasons as to why God is blamed...or is 'letting it happen'...I should go back and add that! Oh too later...."as related to God".
I'm not attached if the whole thing gets moved or deleted.

Implied by the Topic title. And your Op seemed unrelated to it. And we've surely done all the 'let's look at all possibilities with an Open Mind' stuff ad nauseam. It usually turns out to to translate as "Let's select whatever fantasies we happen to like, claim that they are true and wave away science and logic as "Closed -minded".
We have seen it before.
"An open mind is good, but not so open that your brains fall out".
