Once when I was about 14 years old, while I visiting the deep bauyous of LA,(I lived in Michigan) I had a preacher take me and my brother aside and he took the time to tell us of how Koran lies about Jesus, and about how when you put the Koran up next to the Bible, the Koran turns into dust. I had no idea what he was talking about. I was like "whatever". Then MUCH later in life I was amazed at how I could totally recall what he was teaching. I connected with what he said almost 30 years later, and I have not remembered a single other sermon in my whole life.(not a church goer)

I worked with a guy that was a pentecostal lay preacher. He traveled most week-ends preaching at different churches. He said that they always take up a collection, or a "love offering" which they gave him.

He also bragged that he never reported it as income on his taxes.
