what it actually is:
i think a thing and it instantly appears
surrounded by all my loved ones deliriously happy to be together again
conscious memory of all my past lives and my adventures in each of them
bathed in divine love and knowing that love is eternal, love is all there ever was
and I have been safe and loved and cherished forever and ever

My perfect idea of Heaven is being surrounded by loved ones and doing all of the great wonderful things I possibly can with my loved ones and being in a place free from corruption, hatred, racism, poverty, wars, greed, anger, pain, diseases, illness and sadness
Oddly, it looks just like earth...just all cleaned up

i remember reading an interview on the topic of why would a soul even bother incarnating into the denseness of this earth plane, when there are so many adventures to have romping about in other parts of the universe.
the answer? for the many things we can do here on earth that simply only exist here on earth, and not elsewhere. One soul said he had chosen to incarnate over a dozen times specifically to be near a meadow somewhere in France. Another said the sheer bliss and rapture of physical sensation in a physical body.
it was lovely, put into perspective for me so many lovely things that i just take for granted
