I'm not sure of the existence of Heaven, but the Pope recently stated that he would be accepting indulgences. This actually means in laymans terms that I can do whatever I want and if I were on my death bed I could do my hail marys, confession, and just drop a wad of cash and....i'm in! Thank the Pope for me,if the man upstairs is real...i'm safe!

I don't believe you can buy your way into Heaven. It is a free gift, a gift of Salvation offered by Jesus. All He asks of us is to accept this gift and let Him into our heart and be Lord over our life. For by Grace are you saved through Faith, not of Works!

Considering that the Pope is the most recognized person or the highest on the totem pole on earth,i'll take his word over a book written by man.

This proves that the expression "what goes around, comes around" is as true as things get. Wasn't the practice of taking indulgences eliminated a few hundred years ago? Apparently this pope has momentarily forgotten that we're living in the 21st century. And they say that the election of a pope is supposed to be divinely inspired. That gets harder to believe with each passing day.
