This is my first post, so first I'd like to say hello....
Regarding the topic, someone saying Merry Christmas to me would not offend me just as someone saying Happy Hanukah would not offend me, even though I'm not jewish.
However, I do respect that it offends others, so I try to use the generic "Happy Holidays"
Are you offended if someone says "Happy Holidays" instead of Merry Xmas?
If you are not Christian does it bother you when people assume you are by wishing you a Merry Xmas?
No, I am one of those who says happy holidays because Christmas is not my holiday and I don't want to assume everyone does Christmas. So I say Happy holidays.
It's a tad early, but thanks, and happy Christmas to you too.
