Looking for information and locations of the 200 and some Civil Defense Shelters (fallout shelters) located in and around Reno and Sparks. Only two I have been able to confirm are:

Basement of the old Park Lane Mall. (Entry on the east side of the building)

One at Reno High School, turned into a classroom, probably the ROTC classrooms as they are the deepest part of the school.

UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA. There had to have been some up there but where?

Some references refer to caves and old mines. Only information I could find on a mine was one east of Carson City. (Not looking for Carson City info right now but if you got anything feel free to send it.)

Addendum. Turns out the ROTC classroom in the lower level of Reno High School is not the shelter. There is yet a deeper part of the school, tunnel like with low ceilings. Now used for storage but still accessible.

I would like to add that there is a confirmed shelter on the Northern NV Adult Mental Health Services campus. This site was formally called The Nevada Insane Asylum, and other names. The campus is located on Galetti Way.

There is also a shelter in the old courthouse and, I believe, the library downtown.
