I'm thinking of driving up to Reno from Vegas on the 26th cause the GF loves Chelsea Lately. I'm seeing rooms sold out is there a convention in town that weekend or whats going on?

Any other solid recomendations on places to stay? Looking mid range, dont want circus circus, but dont need the bellagio either.

Thanks

Two words - Reno Rodeo! It may be difficult to find a room at all. You may want to try some non-casino hotels, like Holiday Inn, etc.

well, we have Circus Circus, but we don't have anything close to Bellagio

Our nicer casinos are the GSR if you get the remodeled rooms, that's where Chelsea Handler is gonna be anyway but you already knew that cause they are sold out I guess? Peppermill has a new tower as well, and the Atlantis rooms are decent as well as Silver Legacy. I think you probably can't go wrong with the main hotels... El Dorado, Harrahs... and the above mentioned. Hopefully you can find a place cause I saw Chelsea last time she was here and it was so worth it!!

On my last trip. I stayed at the GSR, the Silver Legacy, Circus Circus and Eldorado. To my surprise, CC had the nicest rooms of the bunch.

The rooms do not resemble the rooms at the Las Vegas property,

None of the rooms were bad.
