So today I noticed some minor things that I didn't spot yesterday when I signed the lease. Is there anything I can do to not be at fault or is it too late? I am in Washington state by the way. I will contact the agent today but I am not sure what I should say since I should have looked closer yesterday and I am not sure what the laws are I haven't even gotten a copy of my lease back yet.

Unless WA state has a "second thought" grace period for lease contracts... I'd say no.

Make a list of your minor things complaints and ask the LL to remedy them.
Include photographs.

Are you saying these minor things would have made you not sign the lease? Or are you just wanting the LL to be aware so that you don't get charged for them at move out? If the latter, that is an easy thing, just take in an itemized list of the things you see and have them sign a copy (taking photos is never a bad idea). I give my tenants 10 days to turn in their list of existing damages they find during move in.
