11: Bras were burned as part of the womens rights movement, nothing to do with the war. (Trust me on this)
13: I don't remember Buddy Holly being as famous when he was alive as he seems to be portrayed now. Maybe it's just my memory.

You're both right, of course. I should have proofread this a little more closely before posting.

Burning underwear? LOL Maybe people weren't so much saner in the good old days, after all...

Got all but, one or two -- The scary thing is that most of these don't seem like that long ago. Something about this aging process that makes the passage of time somewhat irrelevant.

Only got about half of 'em right ... and for 17 my first thought was "Miller time," lol! Still about 15-20 years from retirement though ...
