I thought you were dropping out of the workforce and "retiring" in 3 years at the age of 35 and then planning to live on food stamps and in government subsidized housing once your money ran out.
I find it sad that your life has been such a waste. It appears for most of your life you were taken care of or told what to do. It seems you never enjoyed learning, never enjoyed a career. I hear nothing about family or children so I guess you missed those or they were not important. To top it all off it appears you are or will not be able to take care of yourself by age 67.
My life is much different. I had only one bad period of being drafted and sent to Vietnam. Otherwise, I spent years in school learning to the point where I not only mastered my field, but helped to push beyond the edge of what was known. I had years of parenting and working to support a family, years of developing my career, years of contributing to society and providing quality valuable services, years of helping coworkers and employees to achieve goals and success. After retiring, I had a couple of years of exploration and travel. Now I am working to change from my technical background towards developing my creative and artistic capabilities.
With anything short of massive bad luck, I will be able to provide for myself and my wife as we age. If we need help, we should be able to pay for it.

So the OP's life is even sadder and a bigger waste than I thought.
