Hello -- I am not exactly sure what type of socks you are seeking, but I did Google "Special Socks" and came up with companies that sell many types of specialized socks. Maybe you can order some online. Good luck!

I, too, was wondering what sort of trouble the OP is having with socks. OP, do you mean that the socks sag down around the ankles (fail to stay up)? If so, is that a problem which you had only as you got older?
socks made for diabetics are stretchy enough to stay up, but not so tight that they impede circulation. Easy to find. I wear them in the winter because they are easy to get on.
I have the same problem. I used to have skinny legs, and socks were OK. Now that my legs are heftier, the tops of the socks are far too narrow/tight. It's even difficult to get them over my heels.
I'm considering checking out mens' athletic socks to see if they fit better. If that doesn't work, I'll look into the possibility of making my own socks, to fit.
Yes, not the same problem perhaps, but my Mom had poor circulation and scleroderma, so normal socks or knee-highs were painful as the seams could be abrasive and cause a wound. She had to wear diabetic socks, which have no seam.
I wonder if you could get knee socks or over-the-calf socks and roll them down?
Not sure if this would help. Narrow ankles has never been my problem. sigh
Thanks, but it would look funny with shorts.
