If you mean mentally feel the same way, that is the same for me as well. A common thread is that it is amusing to remember when you thought you were “old” and you would just love to be even that young again! Youth is wasted on the young.
Thinking back, I now realize I was probably cruel, or young and stupid, when I said 30 was old in the presence of an acquaintance(who was 30), I was 22. I’m thinking of one of Bruno Mars song right now.
When I happen to see some lovely piece of eye candy and realize that I'm old enough to be the parent, no, the grandparent of said sweet young thing. And I'm not talking about anyone under the age of 21.
I'm expecting to feel old on my next birthday when I turn 70. SEVENTY - how can that be?
70 is the new 50! It will be ok!
Think of yourself as ageless. Then you won't be hung up on the numbers.
I feel young when I’m sitting or lying down. I stand up, I feel old. But when I get in a swimming pool I’m jumping, running, skipping, I’m a kid again. Love my water aerobics!
Happened when I noticed my husband had hair growing in his ears and at the same time I started sprouting a few hairs on my chin. Quite a shock we were definitely becoming old people.....
"I am not getting old, I am just tired and out of shape!"
Usually a good night's sleep or a few days rest fixes this.
One day it won't. Guess that is when I will officially be "old".
