If your phone does not text, are you still able to get online, into social media, watch Net Flix? I can not fathom having a phone that does not have any other access than a phone. LOL
Yes. A phone is called a phone for a reason. One major function of a phone is to make and receive phone calls. It's so odd that people forget that.

I got my Apple Smart phone 5s for about $75.00. Cricket had a deal because they only had a few left in one color. I think once you wait a few generations, the price really goes down.

What will some people find to complain about next? A ten-digit or an eight-digit number is too long? Give me a break! Do some people simply delight in being mentally disabled? It is truly scary.

Just logged on to see how it works. Received my number in a second. It was an eight digit number.

Easy for me too, but a nuisance to have to do it every time as far as I'm concerned. But then I suppose I am one of those who some would consider to be "mentally challenged" because I think it to be so.

But how often do you log on? It had my last session dated January 2016.

It's overkill. 2 or 3 digits is sufficient. Do some people delight in doing useless things?

Nothing wrong with using eight digits. It's certainly more secure. However, why couldn't they put a space between the fourth and fifth digit? That would enhance readability tremendously! It is so much easier to remember two strings of four-digit numbers than a single eight-digit number.

Then again, maybe I need to figure out how to enlarge my text screen so I can see the digits easier. It's not intuitive, (iPhone 5).

Well here's the thing. Over the last couple of years I did need to log on more than usual. I posted about this a little bit back on this thread. But it shouldn't be that often going forward. I'm wondering now though since I signed up for everything to be online if I will have to receive my next year's statement of how much I will be receiving and my statement for taxes online that I used to get in the mail. The last time I did a change of address with them I signed up for email notifications only meaning they were supposed to tell me to log on and get the statements.

Oh well, I'll deal with it when the time comes. Not going to lose sleep over it.
