I think it's sort of third party insurance for air or ground transport for medical needs. They have the basic seminar and a free lunch in town (all over the country). I'm going for the lunch and the information, like does Medicare cover Medflight and what if I call the paramedic living behind me and need an ambulance to the hospital 26 miles away.
Never heard of them, but there are lots of complaints online.
Initiation fee, monthly fee, yearly fee...
It has been my experience that there's no such thing as a free lunch. They are out to sell you something overpriced.
There are supplemental medical transport/insurance policies available without all the rigamarole. No attending anything, listening to sales pitches, or eating anyone's rubber chicken! Due to my remote location, I've been purchasing such coverage for nearly 2 decades. The only fee is an annual membership. It covers ground and air transport, fixed wing or helo. IIRC it initially cost about $40 per year. Now it's skyrocketed to about $50. They don't make me jump through any other hoops at all. Just one use (BTDT; the final cost of that attended, 40 minute trip approached $18K) probably reimburses you for more premiums than you'd ever pay.

I still might go for lunch! It's a good restaurant. Wanna hear what they have to say about Medicare but the reviews Pitt Chick directed me to were all pretty clearly negative.

Could you give me a name of a group you recommend? Thanks.
The service I have is owned and operated by an AK hospital/health service consortium. It's possible they could put you in touch with providers in other regions but I doubt it.
I did find a link to a medical transport accrediting organization on their website. Maybe they can help.

Actually, that's a national accreditation organization - with links to resources everywhere.
BDL - Look at the Colorado section in https://www.camts.org/services/ There are links and contact info for the accredited service providers in the state. They might be able to provide a link to any pre-paid service available in Colorado.
