Seriously, I can't express this to the majority of people in my "real life" , but I just want to acknowledge how much I love Mondays and not having to deal with the borderline depression that used to envelop me on Sunday nights and Monday mornings. Oh man. The small talk in the work elevator, the emails, the calendar invites for meetings , good Lord the list is endless! Feel free to add your gratitude for Mondays!
Enjoy your Monday!

One of the joys of early retirement, and even now, five years later, is waking up early on a Monday morning, and realizing, through the sleepy fog, that I AM RETIRED!!! It is nice to have the whole week ahead of me, and although my weeks are still busy, it is not the same kind of pressure.

I love every day of the week because I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to. I don't have to deal with the same personalities I had to when I worked. It's a joy I can march to my own drummer.

Monday??...what's a Monday?? The best part about retirement is waking up and not knowing (or caring) what day it is.

Monday's will be great, but I will miss looking forward to my Friday night martini. Nothing like a martini to take the edge off a rough work week.

Much prefer the weekdays now rather than the weekends when stores and restaurants are so crowded.
