I’ve looked at mine from 6 years ago and notice a slight difference, but radically different from the signatures of 15 years and prior. Does your signature change more in younger years or older years? If you have arthritis or other medical condition, does that affect it?

Interesting topic. It sure does. Not sure why. Maybe due to the psychology behind handwriting so as you change your handwriting does.

When i was younger my writing was fairly precise. As I’ve gotten older I’m lazier. Thus my signature has become more casual/sloppy.

Now if you thought early on that your signature should be a personalized squiggle, then it might have the same peaks and loops but not be quite as energetic.

yes it does. Which is why I think that using a signature to verify things is not reliable - IMO

I even go through phases where I sign slanted forward and then slanted back - depending on my mood. LOL

Thats why we should all just get chips implanted -

Just kidding folks LOL

Yes.
As I have kept some notes from my pen pals, high school friends, and a diary.
Fascinating to see how it's evolved.
Pretty sure by the time I'm 80, it will be in the Smithsonian as an unusual form of human communication no longer mastered.

When I was young, I carefully made my signature very tidy and neat. Now I just scrawl it, because nobody actually cares if it's tidy and neat, and nobody ever did.

The hardest signature these days is using my fat finger on a pad that I can't see.

I'm short and many of the credit card machines or verifiers in medical offices are hard for me to use and to see.

If I had a pen, I could write a nice signature, but on those screens with my finger??

Mine has changed a lot. Of course, in these modern times it is seldom necessary to sign anything. About the only time I've had to sign anything recently was for a mortgage, and my signature was a scribble that vaguely had my initials discernible.
