No crybabies here...

when / if SS goes away, my retirement plan will continue, as it did the 18 yrs prior to FRA with no SS (and no pension and no HC)

Many are capable, even tho we were lowly single income night shift factory workers.

We made it.

We'll continue to make it. (and not cry about our pitiful increase from that we never expected, never depended on, never will EXPECT or depend on.

Such is life... Very different for each. In purpose and trivial disappointments.

Carry on. (Violins)
Was someone crying?? I must have missed that. Keep posting about how you don't need or want SS benefits - that's great. Irrelevant of course, but apparently it makes you happy to keep crowing about it. So carry on.

Ok, I no longer feel bad about my $37/month. Never get a increase, it all goes to pay the increase in Part B.

Interesting.

Pretty big age difference between you too.

Getting older = the privilege of reaching for the sky for premium increases

Okay, you got me to check... $127 more. I'm still not able to spend my entire check on average each month, since my expenses & wants are pretty modest now. Also haven't touched my savings at all yet, I need to live a little more lux I guess.

I don't have kids so anything that is "leftover" would just go to family I don't see very often, I will put in a new kitchen & reno the place next year so I think I will opt for nicer stuff than usual and no DIY, hire people & shovel the $$$ towards them. And maybe the entire place not just a new kitchen. A big change for me.

LOL, at you now, the 3rd link down from his link is clearly Primary Insurance Amount

https://www.ssa.gov/oact/progdata/retirebenefit2.html

It is used in many places in the SS benefits site. And pretty much anyone knows that PITA means Pain In The A$$. FRA amount is literally defined as PIA.
