Found a 2bed plus small 3rd bedroom on Arnold ave in edgewood. Its only 1100 a amonth with Air Conditioning, Cable television, Central Air Conditioning, Den/Study, Dishwasher, Eat-in Kitchen, Gas Heat, Granite countertops, Hardwood floors, High-speed internet, Laundry in unit, Microwave, Refrigerator, Stainless steel appliances, Storage, and Updated/renovated kitchen. The only thing I'm not sure about is that its on the third floor and the one of the stairs is really narrow, but the back stairs are better but still kind of narrow.

Is that a good price for that area? Also is that a nice area? From what I saw of the street it was on, it was beautiful. Also is there a beach near by? I could see the bay from the street. I'm a young professional and I want to be close to things to do, but be in a safe area. Isn't providence close as well?

Sounds fine. That area is popular with J&W students who go to the Harborside campus.

Arnold Avenue runs between Broad Street and Narragansett Boulevard in the Edgewood section of Cranston. Housing stock in that section is predominantly in stately two and three floor wood frame structures erected from 1890's to 1920's. Many of the impressive homes are occupied by single families; more have been occupied by two and three families. A number have been converted to condominiums. Edgewood was home to prominent professionals and business executives. That area is generally regarded as low crime.

The closest public beaches with lifeguards are at Conimicut Point Park, Oakland Beach, and Buttonwoods City Park, all in Warwick. The bigger ocean front beaches are an hour south on Rt.1

India Point Park is right down the street, you can take the
Block Island Ferry in summer.
The closest real lay-out beaches would be in Warwick.
Buttonwoods, Oakland Beach, Goddard Park.
you're also close to the Roger Williams Zoo.
