We are moving to Chester in 2 weeks and need some help! We are definately going to rent the first year and would like to be in a nice part of the town, safe, convienent and a newer complex. Apartments or townhomes are fine. I need a couple nice places to research! Thanks so much

I don't know much about Chester apartments as I live in the West End but when I am looking for apartments in an area I usually resort to the following websites for my research:

www.rent.com

www.apartmentratings.com

www.apartmentreviews.com

The first one helps me determine what's available in the area, and the two following ones help me determine their quality! Sometimes I start the other way around -- look for best apartments in an area using the sort function in the review websites, then I directly contact the apartment agencies/office that ranked highest in the reviews! This is how I narrowed down my apartment hunt last year and came to select the apartment complex in West End where I currently reside.

Thank you..i know we have narrowed a couple down using those sites. Sometimes it can be so hard to know if what you see is what you're getting. Thanks for the advice

This site normally caters to the military, so it should give you quite a few options since Chester is close to Fort Lee. Check out AHRN - The Automated Housing Referral Network.
