Can anyone give me any info on the Sussex Wood neighborhood in Henrico? Good? Bad?

There is a house there that I'm so drawn to, but of course I can't find any info online on the neighborhood.

Thank you!

As for the apartment complex itself, I have no idea. The area itself and the intersection you are near (John Rolfe & Lauderdale) is a very good place. You have pretty much everything you need near you at the John Rolfe shopping centers and Short Pump mall/Broad St is a hop and a skip away. Schools are very good and crime and so forth is low in that area. I wouldn't have any hesitation in moving there...

Sussex (West End) = Good
Essex (East End) = Bad (LOL!)

Paliboy has a point. Also, it's close to Deep Run Park, that alone is a good enough reason to live there !

No clue about the complex itself though, try checking apartmentratings.com.

I live next door in Sussex Square -- the entire area is conveniently located and desireable

It's actually a little single family house in that neighborhood, not the apartment complex.

Either way, you're in an ideal location. I'd attack it if it is something that attracts you (the house).
