My husband and I are considering purchasing a property on Vancouver Drive in Roanoke. We have heard both positive and negative about the area. The house is absolutely adorable and everytime we have been by the neighborhood it seems very quiet and everyone is going about their business. All the houses on that street are very well kept up along with the landscaping.
We were asking because we are a middle aged couple looking to make this our home and live their throughout are retirement years as well. My husband sometimes has to travel for business therefore I would be alone. That is another reason we are inquiring.
Any information or advice would be so greatly appreciated.

I think it's a pretty nice neighborhood. Right near the mall so definitely conveniently located. I'm pretty sure it's right in the flight path for the airport though, so maybe noise issues?
