Hi everyone! My fiance and I are looking to move to Roanoke in the next year or two after we get married. I'm in my late twenties and he's in his 30s, and we want to live somewhere that is safe, as we would be looking to start a family. How is the Piedmont Park & Mill Mountain Park area of Roanoke? We really like the accessible paths nearby as my fiance likes to ride bikes. Any other suggestions of nice places to live for a couple just starting out?

Mill Mountain Park is on top of Mill Mountain in Roanoke. It is accessible by a road which connects to the Blue Ridge Parkway. While the park is in the City, it is very safe and many people venture there at night for the tranquil setting overlooking the valley.
