This is really great. It's been making the rounds at work and on my social media. I have a friend moving to Roanoke soon, it's like this was made for him.

These videos are great but for the people who already live here we always knew the region was special. Now, we have to
realize when the word gets out about this area more and more people will move here. Are we ready?

I've certainly taken notice. This city seems ideal for me and the work I do teaching private music lessons. It's so beautiful!

Music teacher, eh? The Music Lab at Jefferson Center is one of my favorite things about Roanoke.

Nice video. Roanoke looks like a nice place to live. I turned down at job at AECOm in the Wachovia tower about 8 years and wish I had taken it for a few reasons.

Do a lot of Va Tech alumni retire in Roanoke? Do a lot of recent graduates try to get a job in Ranoke to stay near the university? I live in Greenville SC and went to CLemson, and a main reason I lke living here is to be near CLemson, and there are a lot of alumni here for same reason.

Exactly. As far as retirement is concerned, Blacksburg is one of the top 5 places to retire in the U.S., according to Money.
Because of its base of technology sectors that area is a top growth location. Im wondering where an influx of people will
live because of the mountainous terrain, I guess more vertical structures. Roanoke is also starting to grow with a very
energetic downtown and increased tourism. Virginias main growth area will always be the DC suburbs, with government
agencies and the Military. I hope the Hokies will continue a strong football legacy of Frank Beamer. Tech really put this area
on the map!
