https://www.foxnews.com/us/rochester...d-election-law (OP now we know the reason she wanted to defund the police!) ( Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley announced that Warren is facing two felonies, including scheme to defraud in the first degree and violation of election law. Also charged were Warren’s campaign treasurer, Albert Jones Jr., and the treasurer of her political action committee, Rosalind Brooks-Harris.)
I’m not surprised that they were going to come for her. I don’t know or think defunding had anything to do with this, but the Prude incident likely opened the door for a full investigation of the government.

I agree. There's always been a "cloud" that hangs over this administration.....

I remember her uncle driving her down the thruway at 100mph, thinking it was ok. She interfered when David Ghant (her mentor) ran a stop sign when he shouldn't have even been driving. And lately, all the people protesting how they are treated under her administration.

For some reason, the City, for a long time, hasn't been able to attract any really dynamic "leaders".

They've made it harder and more expensive to operate a business in the city. Instead of aligning the economics for job creation, she builds new housing to just make people comfortable in their misery. It's a shame. Writing off the future of it's own citizens rather than lifting them up and offering opportunities to grow and become independent.

Very true. It seems that she, and her similar thinking followers, still have the mentality that Kodak and Xerox are still employing 75-80,000 workers, and providing the substantial paychecks that they did, as well as generating tax money for the city/county, both through taxing the residents, as well as the corporations. They still don't understand that those days have passed.
It's not all that easy to do, and believe me, I wish it was. However, where do you suggest people move to, where things will be completely better? Yes, I know crime has become a serious issue, especially lately, but for native Rochesterians, the weather has always been a reason for living. For me, trading blizzards for hurricanes, or earthquakes, is a no-brainer. I'd much rather spend an hour herding my snow blower around, rather than re-building my home every few years....
