From the town supervisor's Facebook page today:

Tom Wahls is moving into the old Carmine's on Maiden Lane. And adding 1800 sq ft.
Hobby Lobby to go where Ashley Furniture was on Latona Rd. And adding square footage.
Elmridge Center on Ridge Rd is filling up, including a medical manufacturer where Sam's Club was.

Most homes sold west of North Ave/ Flynn Rd are new homes and start at $400,000. A bunch of million+ homes just built in this area and eastern Parma.

Yes, they are sold before they are built. Nobody builds spec houses anymore

I’ve noticed this even just doing quick/casual Zillow searches as Greece is where we are moving to. Most of the houses we targeted and found desirable are up by closer to 20%, as we are seeing most of the inventory we liked June from around $150k to around $180k now. There’s precious little in the under-$150k category in Greece.

My sister/brother in law are making a killing on their equity right now. Theirs is probably a $150-$160k house which they bought a dozen years ago for barely over $100k right near Ridge & Long Pond.
