Hello. I live in the foothills between Grass Valley and Auburn, and may need to move to Rocklin or Roseville due to jobs and extra curricular activities that we commute to in Roseville. I am addicted to living surrounded by nature, and already know it will be a difficult transition. Can someone please tell me what areas in Rocklin or Roseville that have a more tree/green/nature, and even hilly feel to it. I will be looking to rent initially, and may need to get an apartment that allows large dogs, or a house that is not too outrageous. Good schools are also important. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hmm a lot of the hilly areas can be expensive. What is your budget?

Roseville and Rocklin abound in swaths of parks and hiking trails along them. Schools are also excellent.

You may want to look at Lincoln or Wheatland.
